Global girl group KATSEYE is experiencing a surge in popularity as their track 'Gabriela' continues its impressive ascent on the UK Official Singles Chart, marking five consecutive weeks of upward movement and inching closer to the group's highest chart position.

According to the latest Official Chart released on September 5th (local time), 'Gabriela,' a B-side from KATSEYE's second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,' secured the 46th spot on the Official Singles Top 100 for the week of September 5th-11th. The song initially debuted at number 42 in its first week, setting a new personal best for the group.

After some fluctuations, 'Gabriela' re-entered the charts in mid-August and has demonstrated remarkable staying power, climbing from 77th to 61st, then to 53rd, and now reaching 46th this week. This sustained performance over two and a half months since its release highlights the track's strong endurance.

The group's momentum is also evident on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. The latest Weekly Top Songs Global chart (August 29th - September 4th) features three KATSEYE tracks: 'Gabriela' at number 28, 'Gnarly' at 87, and 'Touch' at 174.

This resurgence is attributed to a combination of factors, including buzz generated from performances at major festivals like Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic 2025, as well as their participation in the GAP advertising campaign. These events have collectively boosted not only their latest releases but also tracks from their debut album.

Continuing the excitement, KATSEYE released 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS: The Remixes' on September 5th (local time). This project features collaborations with producer JULiA LEWiS, known for her genre-bending work, offering new interpretations of 'Gabriela' and the title track 'Gameboy,' with remixed versions including Sped Up and Extended edits, alongside a Hyperpop Extended version of 'Gnarly.'

Meanwhile, KATSEYE, a group embodying the globalization of K-pop methodology spearheaded by HYBE Chairman BANG Si-hyuk, emerged from the global audition project 'The Debut: Dream Academy,' which attracted 120,000 applicants worldwide. Having debuted in the US last June under HYBE America's T&D system, they are set to perform at the pre-show for the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on September 7th (local time) and will embark on their first North American headline tour in November, with all tickets already sold out.
