The K-pop group aespa is experiencing immense global popularity with their sixth mini-album, 'Rich Man.' Released on May 5th, the album soared to number one on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 14 regions, including Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam. It also secured a spot in the top 10 in 29 regions worldwide, spanning major markets like the United States, France, and Australia.

In China, 'Rich Man' achieved 'Platinum' certification on QQ Music for exceeding one million yuan in sales. The album topped trend, EP digital album sales, and music video charts, further showcasing aespa's strong presence. Their dominance extended to Japan's AWA real-time trending chart, hitting number one and underscoring their international appeal.

Leading UK music magazine NME recently featured aespa in an exclusive interview, focusing on the 'Rich Man' album and the group's impressive trajectory. NME highlighted aespa as a group that has consistently delivered powerful hit songs over the years, acknowledging their recent success with 'Supernova,' their full album 'Armageddon,' and their world tour.

During the interview, the aespa members emphasized that the title track 'Rich Man' conveys a message of 'self-love and confidence' rather than material wealth. They explained the song's profound meaning, stating that believing in and loving oneself is the true definition of being rich.

aespa is a four-member girl group under SM Entertainment, debuting on November 17, 2020.

The members are Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning.
