The sudden passing of popular YouTuber Daeddo Library (real name: Na Dong-hyun, 46) has sent shockwaves through the online community, with intense speculation surrounding the cause of his death. He was discovered lifeless in his home on the morning of the 6th.

Authorities responded to a welfare check call from an acquaintance after Daeddo Library failed to show up for a scheduled meeting and was unreachable. Upon arrival at his residence, they found the beloved creator had already passed away. No suicide note or signs of foul play were reportedly found at the scene, leading investigators to consider natural causes or illness.

Compounding the tragedy, online communities are abuzz with testimonies from viewers who recall Daeddo Library mentioning chest discomfort during his livestreams. He had reportedly described sharp, "stabbing" sensations in his chest on several occasions. Just two days prior to his death, he hosted a broadcast where he appeared visibly fatigued, attributing it to lack of sleep due to his demanding schedule. These factors have fueled speculation that his death may have been caused by acute myocardial infarction (heart attack), especially given his father also passed away from a heart attack during his high school years.

Na Dong-hyun, known to fans as Daeddo Library, was a pioneering internet broadcaster who started his career as an AfreecaTV BJ in 2010. He amassed over 1.44 million subscribers on YouTube, significantly contributing to the popularization of online streaming. In 2015, he married fellow popular YouTuber Yum Yum, but they divorced amicably in 2023, maintaining a close friendship afterward.
