Seo Jang-hoon has offered straightforward advice to a high school student who has gained 30kg due to excessive anime viewing.

On the 332nd episode of KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything' (Mullaboshal), aired on the 8th, a high school student appeared as a client, revealing a significant weight gain attributed to his deep immersion in anime.

The student, who is nearing 100kg, sought help on the show to escape his gloomy lifestyle and reclaim a healthier life. He explained his preference for anime with female protagonists, stating, "Aren't the female leads kind? I think I became engrossed by how they get along well with their friends."

He admitted to watching anime from midnight to 6 AM and sleeping at school, confessing that he watches secretly in an "agit" or hideout built on the veranda. He also mentioned that this habit has led to deteriorating eyesight and that he finds vicarious satisfaction through the characters' happy and fulfilled lives.

Seo Jang-hoon strongly advised, "You need to change your habits. You must go to bed by midnight and sleep until 7 AM. Try not to sleep at school. Changing your lifestyle habits is the most urgent priority."
