Ailee & Choi Si-hoon Share Sweet Newlywed Moments, Address Rumors Indirectly

Singer Ailee and her husband Choi Si-hoon have shared glimpses of their happy newlywed life, while also subtly addressing the rumors that have surrounded them.

In a recent YouTube video titled 'Couple Who Got Really Angry Watching 'Divorce Camp' Angry Couple' (feat. 120,000 Won Mala Tang)' uploaded to the channel 'Ailee's Wedding Diary,' Ailee expressed surprise at the sheer volume of mala tang her husband ordered, priced at around 120,000 won. The couple then shared the meal, maintaining a sweet atmosphere.

The duo watched an episode of JTBC's 'Divorce Camp' featuring an 'Angry Couple,' reacting to the show's content. During a scene where one husband leaves home, Ailee shared their couple's rule, "We can't leave when we fight," highlighting their mutual trust.

When Ailee playfully asked, "Should we fight too? What will you buy me?" Choi Si-hoon humorously replied, "Why should I buy you something if we fight?" However, Ailee shared a touching anecdote about a time her husband bought her flowers after a small argument, explaining it was a gesture to "reconcile once more," warming viewers' hearts.

Observing the angry couple's stoic expressions, Ailee remarked, "My husband also used to have a blank expression." Choi Si-hoon elaborated, "I used to be a very bright person, but at some point, my smile disappeared. I guess I wasn't happy seeing the world through my own eyes."

He continued, "But lately, after meeting you, I've received your positive energy. I've started smiling properly again, and my expressions have become much more varied," he conveyed his sincere gratitude to his wife. Ailee and Choi Si-hoon tied the knot on April 20th in Seoul. However, even before their marriage, Choi Si-hoon faced various rumors, notably claims of being a former host club employee.

Choi Si-hoon directly addressed these accusations on his YouTube channel, expressing his frustration: "I was unknown and an ordinary person, so it was extremely unfair to go through that for the first time." Ailee also appeared on tvN STORY's 'Kim Chang-ok Show 3,' tearfully defending her husband: "My husband works incredibly hard. He does various jobs, but people think he's unemployed." She expressed the hardship of appearing to be the sole earner.

Recently, controversy resurfaced when Ri Won, a participant on Wavve's dating show 'Your Love,' mentioned Choi Si-hoon's name during her explanation. Ri Won clarified, "Choi Si-hoon is not an agency CEO and has no direct relationship with me." Both Ailee and Choi Si-hoon's sides have announced their intention to take strong legal action against the baseless rumors.
