Stylist Seo Soo-kyung Mourns Creator Daedolsukwan, Shares Heartfelt Memories
Stylist Seo Soo-kyung has shared a memorial photo of the first-generation creator Daedolsukwan (real name Na Dong-hyun), expressing her deep sorrow.
On the 9th, Seo Soo-kyung posted on her social media account, "My Daedolsuk oppa, who left us after a grand and lively four-day funeral, like a party until the very end."
Accompanying the released portrait, Seo Soo-kyung reminisced about their time together, saying, "He was a wonderful oppa who always paid for everyone at the tuna restaurant we went to." She added, "We were just about to complete his favorite soybean paste recipe, and now we were going to take care of Daedolsuk oppa’s soybean paste." She further recalled, "He always broadcasted in the evenings and worked during the day, but in between, we'd hang out, cook delicious home-cooked meals together, and he was always bright and kind to everyone."
"When the two of us were together, there was never a dull moment. Why did I not chat with him for those two days when I was just a bit busy, when we texted every day?" she lamented. "My oppa still had so much he wanted to do and so much he wanted to enjoy. I hope you are having fun there first." She concluded by saying, "I said all the things you wanted to say, all the things you wanted to brag about. I will continue to say them on your behalf. Rest peacefully, and I hope we meet again later."
Meanwhile, the late Daedolsukwan passed away on the morning of the 6th at the age of 46. Police and fire authorities responded to a report from an acquaintance who couldn't reach him and found him deceased at his home in Gwangjin-gu around 8:40 AM that day. No suicide note or signs of foul play were found at the scene. His wake was set up at Room 205 of Konkuk University Hospital Funeral Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, with his sister and ex-wife, YouTuber Yum Yum (real name Lee Chae-won), as chief mourners. The funeral procession was held on the morning of the 9th at 8 AM.
