Kim Jong-kook has finally addressed the swirling rumors surrounding his new wife. During a recent recording of KBS2's 'Problem Child in House', the singer directly refuted speculations about his spouse.

He clarified, "I am not in the health industry, nor is she 20 years younger than me. We didn't date for a long time, which is why rumors didn't spread," dismissing claims circulating online about his wife being a much younger fitness trainer.

Veteran actor Park Young-gyu also appeared as a guest, offering seasoned advice to the newlywed. Park, who was on his second marriage by Kim Jong-kook's age, humorously advised him to "give everything to your wife, even the safe key and password," before admitting with a laugh that he hadn't entirely done so himself.

Kim Jong-kook held a private wedding ceremony on April 5, 2024, surrounded by close family and friends. Despite rampant speculation following his surprise announcement, he chose to remain silent until now. The couple is set to begin their married life in a luxurious villa in Nonhyeon-dong, reportedly purchased by Kim Jong-kook entirely with cash.
