Big Hit Music's promising new boy group, CORTIS, has officially made their mark by storming domestic and international music charts with their debut album. Within just three days of release, their first album, ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,’ has surpassed 310,000 copies in sales, according to Hanteo Chart on September 11th.

This remarkable sales figure not only sets a new record for the highest first-day sales among debut albums this year but also shows a consistent upward trend, hinting at CORTIS's immense potential. Their impact is even more pronounced on global charts, with the album securing the 65th spot on the US Apple Music ‘Top Albums’ chart (as of September 9th), being the only K-pop act to do so on that day.

Further solidifying their international presence, CORTIS's debut release entered the US iTunes ‘Top Albums’ chart at 88th place and climbed to a peak of 32nd as of midnight on the 11th. In Japan, the album landed at second place on the Oricon ‘Daily Album Ranking’ on its release day, signaling a strong reception in the Japanese market.

The group's success extends to China, where all tracks from their debut album entered QQ Music's charts for trending songs, popularity index, and new releases. Notably, their intro track ‘GO!’ topped the ‘Trending Songs’ chart, with follow-up songs ‘FaSHioN’ and the title track ‘What You Want’ also charting impressively.

CORTIS's popularity is further evidenced by their explosive growth on social media. Their official Instagram follower count surpassed 2 million on the evening of September 10th, adding another million followers in just 17 days since reaching the 1 million milestone on August 24th. This rapid fan base expansion highlights their burgeoning global appeal.
