PARAN's Choi Sung-wook Becomes Father to Twins After 6 Years of Marriage; Shares Joyful News

Choi Sung-wook, formerly of the group PARAN, has announced the heartwarming news of becoming a father to twins six years after his marriage.

On September 11th, Choi Sung-wook shared on his social media, "On September 8, 2025, Baekho and Yorongi finally saw the light of day." He expressed his profound gratitude to his wife, Kim Ji-hye, for enduring the difficulties of childbirth and becoming a mother.

"To my dearest Ji-hye, who went through the most hardship, thank you for enduring the difficult times so well," he wrote, praising her resilience. "Even through long labor, without a NICU available, your determination to bear all the pain was the epitome of motherhood. I can only revere you."

He further reflected on his wife's unwavering dedication, especially after facing infertility for six years before conceiving the twins through IVF. "Having known Ji-hye since we were 20, I know better than anyone how someone so meticulous about self-care chose to embody motherhood rather than just being a woman during pregnancy. I often wonder if I could have done the same," he confessed.

The twins are currently in the neonatal intensive care unit. Choi Sung-wook shared, "Though the babies might feel a little scared and lonely, they are leaning on each other and holding on well. My wife needs to focus on her recovery, but she cries often when seeing the babies, so I comfort her daily."

"Your words, 'Mothers are strong, don't worry,' make me feel so ashamed every day. I sincerely hope my wife and children recover quickly so our family of four can greet everyone together," he added, extending his thanks to all who offered blessings.
