When Kim Sook inquired if he had married his personal gym trainer, Kim Jong-kook firmly denied the rumors, stating, "No, my wife is perfectly fine at home." He further expressed his bewilderment, commenting, "Almost nothing in the news about me is true, except for the gender."

Addressing speculation about his wife residing in LA, being over 20 years younger, or being a CEO, Kim Jong-kook asserted that all these claims were false. When Kim Sook persistently pressed about the age difference, he explained, "The reason I haven't disclosed it is not simply due to a significant age gap."

Following Kim Jong-kook's admission of not having many dates, the MCs playfully questioned if he had married a doll or a virtual character. He retorted, "I did not marry a hologram character," and added, "It was not long after we started dating, so people might have wondered why I wasn't getting married."

He further elaborated on why his wife remained undisclosed, saying, "It's not that I'm exaggerating, but rather my partner preferred privacy." Kim Jong-kook tied the knot with a non-celebrity woman on May 5th at a private venue in Seoul, with actor Yoo Jae-suk serving as the MC.
