Viewers of the popular MBC variety show 'I Live Alone' were left in stitches and disbelief as cast member Kim Dae-ho spent an astonishing 70,000 won (approximately $50 USD) on a self-car wash for his beloved van.

During the broadcast on the 12th, Kim Dae-ho took his 5-year-old van, affectionately nicknamed 'Damar-gini', to a self-service car wash, admitting it was the first proper wash it had ever received. He explained that the van had endured years of harsh weather without adequate care, leading to issues like mold on the seats, a confession that elicited a humorous, disgusted reaction from co-star Kian84.

Due to the van's height, machine washing was not an option, pushing Kim Dae-ho into the world of self-washing. However, his inexperience quickly became apparent. His first 20,000 won charge was wasted as he lost track of time. The second charge was mostly used just rinsing, and the third saw him diligently applying foam and scrubbing with a sponge. To everyone's surprise, black, murky water continued to pour from the vehicle, leaving him flustered. The car wash owner even mentioned that a typical wash costs only around 10,000 to 12,000 won, a figure Kim Dae-ho found hard to believe.

After a total of 70,000 won spent, Kim Dae-ho finally learned from the owner that the issue stemmed from the van's aging rubber components.
