Actor Jang Dong-yoon has revealed an amusing anecdote from his university days, recounting how he used to intervene when high school students were smoking near his campus.

In a YouTube video uploaded on the 12th to the channel 'An Sohee,' titled 'Hanyang University Student Jang Dong-yoon's Guide to the Best Eats Around Campus,' Jang Dong-yoon visited familiar spots from his university life with fellow BH Entertainment labelmate, An Sohee. As they walked through a nostalgic alleyway where he used to live during his Hanyang University years, he shared his encounters with underage smokers.

"I commuted to school through this area, and I saw so many students smoking," Jang Dong-yoon explained. An Sohee chimed in, mentioning that she heard from his friends that he would tell high schoolers to "Stop! Stop!" if he caught them smoking. Jang Dong-yoon confirmed, adding, "I would ask the students, 'Which school are you from?' in these alleys, and I always caught a few."

When An Sohee jokingly called him the "alley leader," Jang Dong-yoon chuckled and said, "Rumors even spread among the students that 'a weird Hanyang University student is interfering with our smoking,'" eliciting laughter from both of them.

Jang Dong-yoon made his acting debut in 2017 with the web drama 'The Dramatic Thesis of Ms. Oh.'

He quickly gained attention for his handsome looks and solid acting skills, starring in popular dramas such as 'Mr. Sunshine,' 'The Tale of Nokdu,' and 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay.'

His performance in 'The Tale of Nokdu,' where he portrayed a cross-dressing character, earned him critical acclaim and solidified his status as a rising star.
