Global superstars SEVENTEEN have officially launched their highly anticipated world tour, 'NEW_()', marking a powerful new chapter for the group.

The tour commenced on June 13th and 14th at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, where SEVENTEEN connected with an astounding 54,000 fans over two days, signaling the beginning of a fresh era.

Opening the concert with 'HBD' and the title track 'THUNDER' from their 5th full album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY', SEVENTEEN immediately ignited the stadium. Amidst thunderous cheers from their fandom, CARAT, member Seungkwan expressed his overwhelming emotions, exclaiming, “Wow! The atmosphere today is amazing!”

The group delivered a setlist spanning their decade-long career, captivating fans with hits like 'Domino' and 'Network Love' that filled the venue with sweet melodies. They followed up with dramatic performances of 'SOS', 'LOVE, MONEY, FAME', and 'Dar+ling', showcasing their signature powerful storytelling.

The latter half of the concert reached an electrifying peak with a continuous barrage of hits including 'HOT', 'HIGHLIGHT', 'ROCK', and 'HIT', unleashing explosive energy. The performance of 'Rock with you', which began with DK's powerful drum solo, sent the audience into a frenzy, with members themselves dubbing this segment the 'passion zone,' akin to a triathlon for its intense demands.

Highlighting the tour's theme 'NEW_()', the members explained that the underscore allows for any word to be inserted, emphasizing SEVENTEEN's boundless potential. For the group, who debuted in 2015 and are now celebrating their 10th anniversary, this tour signifies the dawn of their next decade.

Addressing the CARATs filling the stadium, SEVENTEEN shared their heartfelt sentiments: “If you are happy, we are happy. Our ordinary lives have been changed through you.”

SEVENTEEN’s global journey continues with upcoming stops in Hong Kong, followed by a North American leg with nine shows across five cities in October. They will then embark on a Japanese dome tour in November and December, hitting major venues across the country.

SEVENTEEN is renowned for their self-producing capabilities, with members actively involved in songwriting, composing, and producing their music, earning them the title of 'self-producing idols'. The group's name signifies the connection between 13 members, 3 units, and 1 team, coming together to form one cohesive entity. Since their debut, they have solidified their position in the K-pop scene with strong performances and unique concepts, continuously expanding their global fanbase with each release.
