Newlywed Kim Jong-kook has personally addressed rumors surrounding his wife for the first time since his marriage.

In the SBS show 'My Little Old Boy,' aired on the 14th, Kim Jong-kook, who held a private wedding ceremony on September 5th, shared behind-the-scenes stories of his newlywed life with his close friends Kim Heechul and Kim Dong-hyun.

Kim Dong-hyun expressed concern, suggesting that Kim Jong-kook's intense passion for exercise might lead to conflicts with his wife over workout matters. Responding to this, Kim Jong-kook stated, 'There has only been one instance where we fought due to exercise,' and emphasized, 'We absolutely did not meet at the gym.'

Kim Heechul then brought up circulating rumors, asking if it was true that his wife is from LA and a cosmetics entrepreneur, or the daughter of an English tutor. Kim Jong-kook firmly refuted these claims, stating, 'Everything except the marriage is untrue,' and drew a clear line, saying, 'The rumors circulating online have no basis whatsoever.'

When Kim Heechul jokingly asked if the marriage itself wasn't true, Kim Jong-kook laughed and wittily replied, 'Only the marriage is true. Everything else is wrong, except for the gender.' Seo Jang-hoon chimed in, agreeing that it's best not to believe unsubstantiated information prevalent online.

Regarding his wedding ceremony, Kim Jong-kook shared, 'We invited only about 100 people, 50 from each side,' explaining, 'We gathered only those who are close to us, people we contact daily or see in person.' He revealed that Yoo Jae-suk officiated the ceremony, he himself sang a congratulatory song, and Shin Dong-yup and Seo Jang-hoon were invited due to strong requests from his mother and deep childhood connections, respectively.

Born in 1977, Kim Jong-kook debuted in 1995 as part of the hip-hop duo Turbo. He later achieved significant success as a solo artist, releasing numerous hit songs such as 'One Man' and 'Lovable.' Currently, he is actively appearing on variety shows like 'My Little Old Boy' and 'Running Man,' solidifying his position as an all-around entertainer.
