SEVENTEEN's Hoshi Drops Surprise Solo Track 'TAKE A SHOT' Ahead of Military Enlistment

SEVENTEEN member Hoshi is set to release a surprise solo track today, the 16th, just before his military enlistment.

According to his agency Pledis Entertainment, Hoshi's new song ‘TAKE A SHOT’ will be unveiled on various online music platforms at 6 PM KST.

‘TAKE A SHOT’ is a hip-hop track based on the Rage genre, characterized by its intense atmosphere. It combines Hoshi's powerful and skillful rap with diverse synth sounds and guitar performances, creating a sound that is both heavy and dynamically driving.

Hoshi directly participated in the lyric writing for this song, expressing his overflowing passion and aspirations as he embarks on a new chapter, marking his 10th debut anniversary. The raw sound effects, untamed energy, and swag-filled lyrics heighten anticipation for Hoshi's future endeavors.

Previously, Hoshi showcased his broad musical spectrum through activities with the special unit BSS, the Hoshi x Woozi collaboration, and SEVENTEEN's full-length albums. He also solidified his presence as a solo artist by successfully holding domestic and international fan concerts, drawing over 100,000 attendees.

Hoshi marked the beginning of his solo career with the release of his mixtape 'Spider' in 2021. He has since continued to showcase his musical capabilities with personal tracks like 'I Want You Back', 'STAY', and 'Tiger (Feat. Tiger JK)'.
