Actor Lee Jae-wook and Choi Sung-eun are set to captivate audiences with their upcoming KBS 2TV drama, 'The Last Summer,' having just released its first teaser video that hints at the beginning of a childhood romance.

Scheduled to premiere on November 1st at 9:20 PM, 'The Last Summer' is a remodeling romance drama that delves into the story of a man and woman, friends since childhood, who confront the truth about their hidden first love.

The series boasts a talented creative team, with director Min Yeon-hong, known for his work on 'Royal Loader' and the 'Missing: The Other Side' series, collaborating with writer Jeon Yu-ri, who penned 'Kiss Sixth Sense' and 'Radio Romance.' The cast also includes promising actors like Lee Jae-wook, Choi Sung-eun, and Kim Geon-woo.

The newly released teaser opens with glimpses into the daily lives of Baek Do-ha (played by Lee Jae-wook) and Song Ha-gyeong (played by Choi Sung-eun), set against the backdrop of a vibrant summer. The scenery of the picturesque town of Patan adds to the captivating visuals.

Scenes of Do-ha and Ha-gyeong living their separate lives, separated only by a wall in their peanut houses, create intrigue. Ha-gyeong's attempt to peek at Do-ha through a hole in the wall, met with his knowing smile, sparks curiosity about their dynamic.

Ha-gyeong's question, "Did you hire a lawyer?" and Do-ha's response, "Someone sent me a legal notice after two years," further tease the complex history between the two, leaving viewers eager to uncover their story.

Despite their bickering, moments of undeniable chemistry emerge, culminating in a scene where Do-ha leans in as if to kiss Ha-gyeong. His narration, "When I see you, I remember the me who liked you back then," is followed by flashbacks to their sweet and innocent school days, creating a stark contrast and raising questions about how this once-sweet pair became adversaries.

Lee Jae-wook made his acting debut in the 2016 film 'Salamander Guilt.' He has since impressed audiences with his performances in dramas such as 'Memories of the Alhambra,' 'Extraordinary You,' 'Alchemy of Souls,' and 'Death's Game.' His strong acting skills and charming visuals have garnered him a significant fanbase both domestically and internationally.
