KBS2's new weekend mini-series 'The Last Summer' is heightening anticipation with the reveal of an intriguing encounter between Lee Jae-wook and Kim Gun-woo.

The drama, slated for its premiere on November 1st, released stills showcasing Lee Jae-wook as architect Baek Do-ha and Kim Gun-woo as lawyer Seo Soo-hyuk, set to captivate viewers as client and legal representative.

Baek Do-ha, a skilled architect and director of 'Pluto Atelier', finds himself entrusting his case to Seo Soo-hyuk, a lawyer specializing in appeals with an impressive 99% win rate. Despite their seemingly different personalities, their dynamic promises sparks as they navigate the legal proceedings.

The released images depict Do-ha reviewing documents while Soo-hyuk intently observes his actions within an office setting. Soo-hyuk, who prioritizes 'fun' when taking on cases, becomes fascinated by Do-ha, who devises his own strategies, leading him to accept the case. However, what was initially expected to be a straightforward trial turns out to involve an unexpected hurdle, sparking curiosity about the true nature of Do-ha's case.

Furthermore, stills of the two meeting outside the office hint at a budding bromance, evolving beyond their professional roles into 'meal buddies'. The anticipation builds for how their developing relationship will add further layers of entertainment to the drama.

'The Last Summer' is a remodeling romance drama that unfolds as a man and woman, childhood friends, confront the hidden truth of their first love. Lee Jae-wook debuted in 2018 with 'Memories of the Alhambra' and has since solidified his status as a rising star through diverse roles in dramas like 'Search: WWW', 'Extraordinary You', 'Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol', and the 'Alchemy of Souls' series.
